Pledges to Inspire Future Leaders

Our aim at Changing Education is to #inspirefutureleaders; by giving students a real insight into the various industries and paths they could follow and to open their eyes and imagination to the potential job opportunities which are available.

We plan to use 2021 as an opportunity to showcase some fantastic individuals who have given us a true insight into their profession and the journey they have taken to get to where they are today.

Find out more about our Industry Insight interview videos hosted by our very own Amos Madra. In this fantastic video we hear from the amazing Carla Barker: founder of Greyrose Marketing.

Matrix Accreditation

The Changing Education Group continues to hold the Matrix Accreditation in 2021

???We are very proud of our Careers Advisors and our Wider Careers Provision. The accreditation is a testament to the hard work of our delivery staff and their commitment to support students in making informed decisions about their transition into further education and employment. During the pandemic, our careers staff have continued to offer support to educators and students to minimise the impact on young people as they make choices that will affect their working lives.???

Matthew Hodgkinson (Director/Co-founder)

What this means for our clients?

The Matrix Standard accreditation ensures The Changing Education Group provides our clients with exceptional services. Furthermore, offers the reassurance and confidence that our delivery programmes, software, and staff are continually working towards best practice through critical analysis and reflection, to maximise the outcomes for students.

Planning Ahead

Many of our Careers and IAG Partner schools are starting to look ahead and plan for the 2021 – 2022 academic year. The last 12 months have highlighted the importance of Quality Careers Advice and Guidance as students navigate the challenges and make career decisions in a changing world. Some schools are opting for a 100%  Virtual Careers Advice Programme while others will welcome advisers into school in September.

Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your requirements for the new academic year!

Feedback

Here are some examples of the great feedback our team of Careers Advisers  have received from a year 10 and 11 student and a school Careers Lead:

???Thank you very much, I really appreciate what you have done today???

???That was very useful, you answered questions I didn???t even know I needed to ask!???

???We find virtual careers delivery from Changing Education to be extremely useful, it allows us to have less staff in school and it also ensures that any students that are having to self-isolate still have access to opportunities???

Tell me more

This term on P25, students have been engaging in work skills sessions.  So far we have covered:

Understanding a job advert

My ideal job

What sort of employee am I?

Careers in Hospitality

Reviewing CV???s

The students have worked hard during the sessions.

I am happy to report that employers are beginning to accept students for work experience, and students are starting to attend work placement interviews.  We currently have 7 students out with employers, with a further 11 students securing interviews.  In addition to this great news, for another 8 students we are actively searching for placements.

The BTEC work has been moderated, and the students from last year have had their confirmation of passing the modules.

Testimonial

Careers Lead at Adelaide School

I can honestly say that Changing Education have gone above and beyond for us, we have one key link from Changing Education that works with our school (Across our Trust now) and he is amazing. he helps with parents evenings, contributes to newsletters, visits pupils on placement and send us photos and quotes, he is great.

During lockdown Changing Education adapted straight away and as most of our pupils were then unable to go out on placement we switched to virtual careers lessons which have gone really well.

We are looking forward to the Summer Term, which will involve lots of you accessing the range of services we have on offer.
