Marston’s, case study…
“As a company Marston’s has always been focused on investing in young talent, this year we gave ourselves the goal of going one step further by investing in a work experience programme with the main objective of changing mind-sets when it comes to careers in hospitality! We’ve decided to partner with Changing Education Limited in delivering this programme because we believe that they are one of the largest educational brokerage companies in the country and have certainly demonstrated their high level of expertise when it comes to the world of work experience. So far our working relationship with Changing Education has been incredibly productive, with them leading the way on many aspects of the programme. We’re looking forward to seeing this working relationship develop further over the coming months and years.
As a company we would definitely recommend engaging with Changing Education if you’re thinking of starting a work experience programme in your organisation or even if you’re looking to improve on what’s already there.”

Work Experience
Work experience is vital in helping young people make the right choices and realise their potential. Such experiences can be pivotal for deciding which career path to take and can be an important first step into the world of work. At Changing Education we understand the challenges faced by schools and colleges to encompass a ‘wider careers model’ within their curriculum and the additional cost and resource this can incur.
Project-25
We’re on a mission to engage with at-least 25% of the nations hardest to reach young people and match them up to an employer between 1-2 days per week for the whole academic year. In the UK, 35 students are permanently excluded from school every day and only 1% of those go on to achieve the requirement of 5 good GCSE’s.
Technical Levels
T Levels are new courses coming in September 2020, which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to 3 A Levels. These 2-year courses have been developed to meet the needs of industry and prepare students for work. T Levels will offer students a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 45 days.
