What do schools say?

Changing Education paperless system has saved us a lot of time and resources. The new Connect App is a great addition, allowing students to access their placements from their phones. Overall, it is easy to engage with employers and pull off the reports and evidence needed for Gatsby Benchmarks.
Elizabeth English, Harris Federation

Connect, from Changing Education, has allowed us to focus our time on the real issues regarding placements and not be overrun with admin or paperwork.
Andy Snape, Newcastle and Stafford College

We are excited to be working alongside the Changing Education Group. This partnership allows us better access to quality placement opportunities. The software platform and student App makes it easier than ever for both staff and pupils to engage with work experience.
Rebecca Scott, Ark Schools

Our relationship with the Changing Education Group is excellent, and they are always there when we need them. Their work experience programme is straightforward to follow, and Connect brings everything together, saving us time and money.
Hannah Rutherford, Morecambe Bay Academy

Southam College has a successful relationship with Changing Education, working together to provide a cost-effective, simple delivery system for our key stage 4 work experience programme. The Connect online platform helps provide us with a single point of information on placements. I was impressed with how easy the system is to use and keep track of all our students work experience placements.

Kevin Rodgers – pledges to Inspire Future Leaders

Our aim at Changing Education is to #inspirefutureleaders; by giving students a real insight into the various industries and paths they could follow and to open their eyes and imagination to the potential job opportunities which are available.

We are continuing to showcase some fantastic individuals who have given us true insight into their profession and the journey they have taken to get to where they are today.

In today’s industry insight interview video, hosted by our very own Amos Madra, we hear from the inspiring Kevin Rodgers who is a partner at Wilson Browne Solicitors.

Alongside being a partner in Wilson Browne Solicitors’ commercial and litigation team, Kevin is also chairman of the board of management and leads their commercial business unit, with responsibility for the overall supervision of the commercial team’s work.

Kevin acts for several industry sectors, including logistics, print, construction, and milling. A skilled negotiator, he can advise on the most appropriate route to resolving disputes – whether by informal negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or the court process.

A past (2016) NLS Solicitor of the Year, Kevin is also the current President of the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber represents approximately one-third of the country’s workforce and provides support, representation, and advice to approximately 1000 local businesses. Kevin gives his time freely to the Chamber and is a strong supporter of local business and all that the Chamber stands for.

Kevin has lots of advice and knowledge to share with anyone hoping to pursue a career in law.

Kevin believes that “you don’t need to decide your life right now, you have time” which is an important statement to digest and take on board. He also asks, “do you really know what a lawyer does and try and explore it” and “not to worry about what kind of lawyer you want to be, get an idea of the board and different types available”, which may seem obvious but an important question to think about before you decide if you want to enter this profession.

Ricardo Erasmus – pledges to Inspire Future Leaders

Our aim at Changing Education is to #inspirefutureleaders; by giving students a real insight into the various industries and paths they could follow and to open their eyes and imagination to the potential job opportunities which are available.

We are continuing to use 2021 as an opportunity to showcase some fantastic individuals who have given us a true insight into their profession and the journey they have taken to get to where they are today.

In today’s industry insight interview video, hosted by our very own Amos Madra, we hear from the truly inspirational Ricardo Erasmus – Founder of the Paradigm Shift Academy Ltd and a Transformational Life Coach.

Ricardo, originally from South Africa, arrived in Wales 15 years ago with an aim to help the youth through coaching and mentoring. Ricardo is a transformational life coach, mentor and motivational speaker who played semi-professional football in South Africa – as well as table tennis. He lost his football career due to injuries and became very depressed and even suicidal.

After 3 months, although he felt that he lost his football career, his passion has always been to encourage and inspire the next generation. He started working with youth, helping them to authentically unleash their potential. He joined Animas Coaching Centre to equip himself as a transformational Life coach.

Ricardo has some fantastic knowledge and wisdom to share, and his aim and desire is to see the next generation go further than himself.

Ricardo believes that “in the tough times you need to hold onto that dream, that goal and vision” because “the outcome will be you will win” if you have a positive outlook. He talks about the importance of getting to know ‘who you are’ as this will lead you to make good decisions – important advice for us all to reflect on.
